Description: |
Industrial label manufacturer seeks an experienced and goal-driven Process Improvement Engineer to be based in our Oak Ridge, TN facility.
Experience in the printing industry is a plus but not required.
Compensation package includes:
- Salary range of $40,000 - $50,000

Duties: |
- Plan and conduct Kaizen Events
- Sustain the 5S Program
- Understand and apply ISO 9001 Standards and all related documentation
- Report and post all internal and external Key Quality Performance Indicators
- Determine root cause and implement / monitor corrective action to eliminate quality defects
- Conduct Internal Audits to monitor and assess the effectiveness of the quality system
- Supervise and direct the Quality Analyst who is responsible for PPAP, FEMA, and COC documents, and the reporting of all internal and external Key Quality Performance Indicators.

Qualifications: |
- Applicant must have at least 5 years of quality department and/or process improvement experience for an ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturing operation, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- High customer contact; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills required
- Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
- Commitment to excellence, a strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency is required
- Experience in the printing industry is a plus but not required
